The Almond Cow


We all know that plant based milk is a great alternative to cows milk, but as we try to make healthier choices in our diet we have to wonder, how “healthy” are these options? As the demand for plant based milk rises, companies must find ways to mass produce it. Which unfortunately, can diminish its nutritional value.


The simple solution: make it yourself. Which is surprisingly easy -- especially with the Almond Cow! The taste is so much yummier than store bought plant based milks and does not contain preservatives!


Here is my favorite recipe + a step by step guide on how to use the Almond Cow:


What you'll need:

1. The Almond Cow

2. 1 cup of raw cashews

3. 1/2 cup of dried coconut shreds

4. 3 dates

Next you'll need to soak the 1 cup of raw cashews for 4+ hours. I always soak them overnight and then make my milk in the morning!


Then rinse the cashews and mix in the 1/2 cup of dried coconut shreds + the 3 dates for sweetness!

Connect the top piece to the filter basket!


Fill the base to the "min" fill line with distilled water + press the Almond Cow once!

It also comes with this handy piece that holds the lid so there is minimal clean up!


And viola! So easy + fills about 1 1/2 quarts worth of milk! This whole process from start to finish took less than 5 minutes!


Last -- the fine pulp left behind in the filter basket! There are so many healthy recipes you can use it for! Like nutty flour, granola, almond flour waffles, or you can blend it into a smoothie for fiber!
